There are estimated to be 6.7 million children in India go without food everyday.
Approximately 32.1 out of every
100 children in India are underweight.
indicating chronic undernutrition
So, what are we doing to fix this problem?
HOW IT ALL STARTED?

ISKCON’s large-scale food distribution program, officially began in 1974. The inspiration for the program came from ISKCON’s founder, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. In 1974, while in Mayapur, West Bengal, he was deeply saddened to see a group of village children fighting with street dogs over scraps of food. He immediately instructed his disciples:
“No one within ten miles of a temple should go hungry… I want you to immediately begin serving food.”
If we can conquer space, we can conquer childhood hunger
Conquering childhood hunger is not a rocket science; it just requires compassion and generosity.
35.5% of the children under five years are underweight due to chronic malnutrition ~ National Family Health Survey
In the tribal villages, a child has to walk a long distance, most of the time barefoot on a rough road, to reach a nearby school.
Extreme poverty also forces children to drop out from school in order to work in the brick kilns and other cottage industries to help their families meet their basic needs for survival.
Despite various government interventions, child malnutrition remains a critical issue in the tribal belts all over India. Malnutrition in some cases leads to death also.
Your kind donation will certainly be instrumental in transforming the lives of tribal children.

Our Work
Daily Meal Distribution
We prepare and serve nutritious, sattvic meals every single day to underprivileged children in schools, slums, and orphanages. This ensures no child goes to bed hungry and helps them focus on education instead of survival.
School Mid-Day Meal Support
Through our collaboration with schools, we provide freshly cooked meals that not only remove hunger but also improve attendance, concentration, and academic performance. A nourished child learns better.
